Storyline
A group of circus athletes, on their way to what they think is a new performance location, become stranded in a lush rain forest after the boat they were on is destroyed by an anaconda. They cross paths with a dangerous poacher who is hunting the snake and realizes that he might now have enough bait to catch it. Luckily, being circus performers, they have more than a few survival tricks up their sleeves.

Fun Facts
The cast and crew shot inside Springbrook National Park at night, using only battery-powered LED rigs so wildlife (including actual pythons) stayed active. One 3 a.m. take was delayed 40 minutes while a wild carpet python slithered through frame—director Tom Gormican kept the shot and used it as the film’s opening POV glide.
Effects house FuseFX gutted a giant 70 mm film magazine, lined it with slime-soaked silicone, mounted a 4K probe lens inside and let Jack Black climb in head-first to film the snake-interior POV—no green-screen, just goo, teeth and LED strips for the “inside the anaconda” gag that lasts 11 seconds on screen.
