Vanessa Caswill (birthname: Vanessa Jean Caswill) is a British director and screenwriter who made short films and music videos from 2006 to 2014, and then launched a successful run as a director of episodic British television for the BBC and Sky TV including Love Matters (2013), My Mad Fat Diary (2014), Thirteen (2016), Little Women (2017), Snatches: Moments from Women’s Lives (2018) and Gold Digger (2019). Caswill directed her first U.S.-produced movie, the Netflix-streamed feature starring Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy, Love at First Sight (2023), produced by ACE Entertainment.
Caswill made her big-screen directorial debut with the theatrical adaptation of author, co-screenwriter, and producer Colleen Hoover’s 2022 novel, Reminders of Him (2026), starring Maika Monroe, Tyriq Withers, Rudy Pankow, Lauren Graham, Bradley Whitford, and Lainey Wilson, co-written and produced by Lauren Levine, and released wide by Universal Pictures.
