Miranda MacDougall is a Canadian-born actor/director/producer who began her screen career with Canadian director/writer/producer Sierra Parr’s short film, Tape (2015), followed by MacDougall’s feature film debut as the lead and an executive producer for director/co-writer/co-star Markian Tarasiuk’s Canadian horror movie/mockumentary, Hunting Matthew Nichols (2026), co-written by Sean Harris Oliver, and distributed wide in 2026 by DeVuono Releasing. MacDougall starred in Canadian director/producer Dom Cutrupi’s So Glad You Came: A Musical (date to be announced), written by Nick Preston, with Jason Sakaki, Tim Howe, and Kelli Ogmundson, and which was produced by Time to Shine Productions.
MacDougall then made her debut as a film director/producer with the Canadian-backed horror short, No Guts, No Glory (date to be announced).
Miranda MacDougall was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada by her parents. MacDougall has four younger brothers. MacDougall attended and graduated from the University of Windsor, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the drama department conservatory program. MacDougall lives in both Toronto and Vancouver. MacDougall’s height is 5’ 5”.
