Lili Reinhart (birthname: Lili Pauline Reinhart), who is best known for her lead role as Elizabeth in the CW’s hit series, Riverdale (2017-2023), began her acting career in feature films at age 15 in the title role in director/writer/producer Sridhar Reddy’s horror movie, Lilith (2011), with Julia Voth, Bianca Christians, Nancy Telzerow and Spencer Jay Kim. Reinhart played a supporting role in director/writer Devyn Waitt’s indie drama, Not Waving But Drowning (2012), starring Vanessa Ray, Megan Guinan, Lynn Cohen, and Adam Driver, and produced by White Horse Pictures.
Reinhart appeared in the cast of the Jordan Vogt-Roberts-directed comedy-drama, The Kings of Summer (2013), with Nick Robinson, Gabriel Basso, Moises Arias, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Erin Moriarty, Marc Evan Jackson, Megan Mullally, Alison Brie and Nick Offerman, launching in the Sundance Film Festival (under the title of Toy’s House) before a $1.4 million release by CBS Films. Lili Reinhart did a cameo in director/writer/producer Elizabeth Banks’ Charlie’s Angels (2019), and then Reinhart starred or co-starred in a string of streaming movies before starring and taking an executive producer credit on the Ute Briesewitz’s mystery, American Sweatshop (2025), co-starring Daniela Melchior, Joel Fry and Christiane Paul, premiering at the South by Southwest Film Festival and released by Brainstorm Media (U.S.)/Plaion Pictures (Germany).
Reinhart led the cast of director/co-writer Meredith Alloway’s horror comedy, Forbidden Fruits (2026), co-written by Lily Houghton from her 2019 play titled Of the woman came the beginning of sin, and through her we all die, with Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Chamberlain and Gabrielle Union, launching at the South by Southwest Film Festival and distributed in wide pattern by Independent Film Company. Reinhart co-starred with Tom Bateman under Claire Scanlon’s direction in the romantic comedy, The Love Hypothesis (date to be announced), with Rachel Marsh, Nicholas Duvernay, Jaboukie Young-White, and Arty Froushan, and which was released theatrically and on streaming by Amazon MGM Studios.
